McLaren unveiled a new front wing iteration for the Canadian Grand Prix, part of technical package changes made by five teams for the Montreal race. This followed stricter regulations set at the Spanish Grand Prix where teams needed revised front wings to comply with a 10mm deviation limit under load. McLaren had successfully trialed a lower-flex wing at Imola before fully debuting it in Barcelona, and further improved it for Canada. The team updated its front wing geometry for increased aerodynamic performance, along with a new medium-downforce rear wing design to cover a larger drag range. Mercedes also registered changes, including a larger front brake inlet, while Aston Martin and Alpine made adjustments too, signaling a technical evolution in Formula 1 ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix.
